Note to self don't feed the beastie after midnight.
Most of the gremlins have left my holga and only one remains, & that one can stay.
The weather today was overcast and uncertain as it is much of the time here. None the less I was able to shoot a good roll of film. Here are a couple of street photos from portland.
A few shots from this past 4 days! Some from Seattle some from Portland, after all I had to finish up the roll!.
A good mix of stuff from Belltown, Pioneer Sq., Georgetown, & some Old Town Portland to round it out. I decided to push the limits of the aperture setting "clouds" inside, well I got some funky shots, and was happy with what I got. These were shot with a holga 135bc using kodak BW400CN b&w c-41 film, delivered in an hour from freddies and scanned using a minolta di-image scan elite 5400II <---- Phewwww! that alota word.
Here's some graf from the georgetown area of Seattle.
Georgetown has changed quite a bit! After years of being smashed between the interstate to the east, the duwamish industrial complex to the north and west, & Boeing Field to the South, people are now working their way back to this hidden gem.
Once it was the bastion of what it was really like living in an industrial area. Now not so much! Still gritty but there's a little more polish here and there!
enjoy the pic's & more to come later
I didn't know if I would like this camera as much as I would when I first got it, but I am so happy right now to have this bugger with me. I submitted some stuff to the lomographic oktokino mini movie and won myself 10 little piggies..
Here's a link to check out his four frame animation: www.lomohomes.com/vandegraeff
as promised the first stuff from my sampler!
So i make myself a new toy over the holidays. So far it has been really fun using it! My newest camera mod the kalidescope.
Well now that Autumn has officially knocked on my door this week with a sudden and almost pleasant arrival.
It has been getting cooler here in Oregon I thought that it was time to finally get the rest of my summer photos up here on the VOX and enjoy some warm memories!
I had an opportunity for the last couple of years to spend some good times on the Oregon Dunes. It is a unique place with lots of exploring to do even with the wretched humm of dune buggies and atv's in the background of various areas.
Enough said about that enjoy the pic's!
